Hi everyone! Zalando started a wonderful campaign to promote yoga, you can find information about the different kinds of yoga, exercises and fabulous outfits on their website! I chose a beautiful outfit for a restorative yoga practise and will show you a lovely sequence in this post as well!
What is restorative yoga?
Restorative yoga focusses on relaxation and recovery. It are all quiet exercises for stretching and relieving your muscles from soreness. I love to do some restorative yoga on my restday, to relax and calm my body.
In restorative yoga, a combination between breathing exercises and mild stretches is the main focus. You can improve the harmony of your body and mind with these poses.
For restorative yoga I recommend to wear an outfit where you can relax in. A nice pattern and soft colors are always a good choice for yoga.

Restorative Yoga Sequence
Mostly a restorative yoga sequence consists of 5 or 6 poses that allow you to relax and rest. Hold for 5 minutes or more. Here are some exercises that I like to do as a sequence for a restorative yoga practise:
1. Baddha Konasana (bound angle pose)
2. Upavistha Konasana (wide angle seated forward)
3. Supta Padangusthasana (recling hand-to-big-toe pose)
4. Supta Matsyendrasana (reclining twist)
5. Supta Baddha Konasana (reclining bound angle pose)
6. Supta Virasana (reclining hero pose)
